Hopkins County Jail
The murder trial of Tilton Joshua Isaiah Mapps of Greenville is underway before Judge Eddie Northcutt in Hopkins County District Court. Mapps is accused of shooting Jonathan Trahern Young multiple times in Pacific Park in June of 2015. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant DA Matt Harris. Mapps is represented by Dallas attorney Howard B. Blackmon. If convicted, Mapps faces between 5 and 99 years or life in prison.
