Hopkins County/ Sulphur Springs ISD Coronavirus Report

The Department of State Health Services reports another death in Hopkins County from COVID-19, the 19th said so far this year and the third in October. There are 89 active cases and seven patients in the COVID Unit of Christus Mother Frances Hospital Sulphur Springs. There is a total of 802 COVID performed at the testing center in Sulphur Springs.

Two more Sulphur Springs High School students and a middle school staff member tested positive for COVID-19. Those in close contact with the infected students will remain off-campus for up to 14 days to ensure they do not have the virus.
