Hopkins County Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Arrest

A traffic stop by a Hopkins County Deputy for an expired registration and failure to use a turn signal has resulted in the arrest of a 29-year-old Saltillo woman on drug charges. A deputy received consent to search Cassandra Joyce Minick’s vehicle, and syringes, a meth pipe and three baggies of suspected methamphetamine were found in her glove box. She was charged with possession of more than one but less than four grams of a controlled substance. She remains jailed in lieu of $30,000 bond.
