Hopkins County Woman Jailed For Family Violence

Bond has been set at $25,000 for a Hopkins County woman charged with  Aggravated Assault Family Violence with a Deadly Weapon. Deputies responded to a disturbance and learned that 27 year old Maria l Sanchez-Estrada had pointed a gun at a man. The man managed to get the gun away from her after throwing a case of sodas at her. A hand to hand fight continued until the man took the children with him into a storage shed and locked it. She has been released after posting bond.
