A Hopkins County woman has entered into a plea bargain with prosecutors in connection with the murder of her husband at their home in February. Thirty-year-old Cassandra Joyce Minnick of Saltillo pleaded guilty to the fatal shooting of her 39-year-old husband Kenneth. She was sentenced by District Judge Eddie Northcutt to 30 years in prison. The case was investigated by Hopkins County deputies and Texas Ranger John Vance. The case was prosecuted by District Attorney Will Ramsay. Bryan White of Sulphur Springs represented Minnick.
