If you love collecting those tiny bottles of shampoo when traveling your glory days may soon screech to a halt. The Wall Street Journal reports that hundreds of hotels owned by the largest hospitality companies in the world are swapping mini shampoo and conditioner bottles for larger bottles attached to the bathroom wall. Hotels cite environmental, as well as practical reasons for ditching the itsy-bitsy bottles. One reason: many families are looking for more toiletries in the room to allow all to properly wash their hair. But there is a downside…many people donate the mini toiletries to the less fortunate, and critics of the move say not having them will make hotel experiences less enjoyable.
