House Bill Could Lower Prescription Drug Prices

WFAA-Dallas, reports that the Texas House has passed the Texas Wholesale Prescription Drug Importation Program. The bill’s author State Representative James Talarico, estimates the measure could help Texans save 60-70% on prescription medications. Talarico says Texans pay the highest price for prescription medications in the world. The bill now goes to the Texas Senate, where they expect passage.
