Houston Man Jailed In Sulphur Springs On Felony Drug Charges

Sulphur Springs Police stopped a vehicle at the 36-mile marker of I-30 for a traffic infraction and contacted the driver, 43-year-old Tavares T. Sanders of Houston. Officers then seized nearly four pounds of ecstasy and about 12 ounces of cocaine and charged Sanders with two counts of first-degree felony Possession of Controlled Substances, with bonds totaling $200,000.
