HS Baseball And Softball Plus Ranger Drop Series Finale

On Saturday several area teams had to make up games due to weather. In baseball, North Lamar lost to LE 14-4.  Prairiland beat Mt. Vernon 4-2 and Cooper defeated Chisum 5-2.

In softball, Chisum fell 13-3 to Cooper.

The North Lamar Pantherettes will make up their game with LE today at 4:00 pm in Texarkana. That game can be heard on Mix 107.7.

Congratulations to freshman pitcher Emily Otto, who pitched the first seven-inning no-hitter in the softball programs history at  Texas A&M Commerce.

The number 6 Lions split with number 13 West Texas A&M on Sunday. The two teams will finish their series today at 1:00 pm.

The Rangers lost 2 of 3 to the Blue Jays over the weekend including 7-4 on Sunday.

The Rangers will host the Angels tonight on 1490 AM and 96.3 FM KPLT – Pregame at 6:30 first pitch at 7:05.
