Paris defeated North Lamar last night in five sets. Paris dropped the first set before winning the next two. They would lose the fourth and even trailed in the fifth set before rallying for the win. As a team, Paris finished with 52 kills while Macy McAmis had 20 by herself. With the win, Paris pulls ahead of North Lamar for 3rd place with one game to play.
In Pattonville, the Lady Patriots took care of Chisum in three straight sets. Reece Paris had ten kills to lead the Lady Pats. Chloe Raley opened the second set with ten straight serving points and finished with five aces to lead the team.
Prairiland and Rains finish co-district champions and will play each other to determine playoff seeding.
In other action, Detroit fell to Sulphur Bluff in three sets.

Clayton Kershaw dominated for six innings, Cody Bellinger and Mookie Betts homered, and the Dodgers chased a wild Tyler Glasnow in the fifth inning for an 8-3 win over Tampa in Game 1 of the World Series. Game 2 is tonight.
