Hunt County Juvenile Detention Center To Close

The Hunt County Juvenile Detention Center will close next month because officials say continuing to operate the facility is not financially viable. Detainees currently held in the center will be moved to other facilities.  The Hunt County Center currently houses juvenile offenders from Hunt, Hopkins, Lamar and most other neighboring counties.
