Hunt County Man Jailed After Alleged Hit and Run

Officials arrested a Hunt County man Saturday after running over someone with his truck just south of Wolfe City and attempted to run away. When deputies arrived on the scene, they found that one person needed medical treatment at a Dallas hospital. Officers located the driver, Jeffrey Duane Steadham, just up the road and arrested him for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
