Hurricane Laura May Be Felt In East and Northeast Texas

Thunderstorms are likely today through early next week as Hurricane Laura moves northward. The greatest storm chances will be today east of I-35 where locally heavy rainfall may result in some localized flooding. In addition, winds may occasionally gust up to 40 mph across some areas today.
