Hurricane Projections Revised

A little rain is hitting Texas this week, but nothing like forecasters expected. The experts predicted an above-normal number of storms at the start of hurricane season. So far, that has fizzled out. Texas State Climatologist John Nielsen-Gammon says we typically see one hurricane by this time. The National Hurricane Center is already backing off its prediction, which called for between 14 to 20 named storms.
