Hurricane Season Still Expected To Be Above Average

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has released its mid-hurricane season update. The administration states that atmospheric and oceanic conditions continue to favor an above-normal 2022 Atlantic hurricane season. The likelihood of an above-average season has slightly decreased from 65% to 60% but everyone should remain vigilant as the peak months of hurricane season approach.
