Idabel Police Officer Seriously Injured In Off-Duty Crash

An Idabel Police Officer was seriously injured in a two-vehicle wreck during the torrential rains Wednesday evening.  It happened as Officer Brian Deen was coming home from the funeral of a retired Idabel officer. Deen was in his private vehicle. He suffered several broken bones and a fractured sternum and was flown from the wreck to a hospital in Plano.
