Illegal Immigrant Sentenced For Tax Fraud

An illegal immigrant operating a tax preparation service in Greenville has been sentenced to federal prison for fraud. Lourdes Ramirez operated  TX ASAP Tax Services and Fiesta Tax Service and filed nearly 1200 returns  fraudulent business income, losses, credits and deductions. She was sentenced to 22 months behind bars and must pay nearly $130,000 restitution to the IRS.
