Increased Insurance Claims Expected During High Grass Fire Weather

It’s been a hot and dry summer, with firefighters responding to almost three times more fires this summer than last. Richard Johnson with the Insurance Council of Texas says that most homeowner policies covering wildfires expect many claims. Johnson suggests taking pictures of your home in every room before a disaster and double check your coverage to ensure you have enough in these days of inflation.
