Instagram For Kids Criticized

Instagram is putting on hold plans to create a social media site for kids. Activists wish they would cancel it altogether. The Texas-based organization “Children At Risk” says that studies have shown the risk of having young girls on social media. On top of lurking predators, there is bullying and body shaming. The group says the idea of policing a social media site like “Instagram-For-Kids” as a way to weed that out is impossible.
