International COVID Travel Restrictions Eased

They have discontinued the federal rule requiring international travelers to test negative for COVID. Baylor Infectious Disease Expert Dr. Peter Hotez says this comes as cases arise. He says we’re seeing even more significant rises in COVID cases internationally. We’re talking about places like France and Portugal. He says Japan is going up as well. But regarding travel restrictions, Dr. Hotez says they don’t matter because people are still spreading COVID domestically.
