IRS Filing And Payment Deadline Extended For 90 Days

The Treasury Secretary, acting at the direction of President Trump announced today that Tax Day had been moved from April 15 to July 15. All taxpayers and businesses will have this additional time to file and make payments without interest or penalties. The White House had previously deferred tax payments for 90 days but kept the filing deadline on April 15. Treasury Secretary Mnuchin said Americans with refunds should still file now.
