Joint Investigation Leads To East Texas Man’s Arrest For Sexually Assaulting Child

An East Texas man has been arrested on a warrant for Aggravated Sexual Assualt of a Child. Officials arrested 37-year-old Michael Wayne Baird, of Marshall, at his home Wednesday and booked him into the Harrison County Jail. Bond was set at $50,000. The arrest was in conjunction with “Operation Safe Summer” which was a joint operation between nearly a dozen area agencies.
