Jordanian Immigrant Gets Death For Houston ‘Honor Killings’

A Jordanian immigrant has been sentenced to death in Houston for the fatal shootings of his son-in-law and daughter’s best friend in what prosecutors described as honor killings. Prosecutors say the Muslim father was angry his daughter had married a Christian. Investigators say Gelareh Bagherzadeh encouraged the daughter to marry Coty Beavers.
