Juneteenth will be celebrated in Paris on Saturday, beginning with a parade at 11:00 am at MLK Boulevard and 20th Street N.E. and end at Leon Williams Park. The celebration continues at the park with prayers, music, food, giveaways, and other activities for the entire family. The event is open to everyone. Juneteenth is the annual celebration of the end of slavery in Texas.
