Jury Selection Continues In NE Texas Death Penalty Case

Jury selection will resume today in New Boston for the Capital Murder trial of 39-year-old Telford state prison inmate Billy Joel Tracy. He’s charged with beating to death 47-year-old Correctional Officer Timothy Davison in June of 2015. So far, ten jurors have been seated, and the selection process will continue until 12 jurors and at least one alternative is selected. Tracy faces a possible death sentence if convicted.
