Jury To Deliberate East Texas Capital Murder Case

The Smith County jury in the Dameon Mosley capital murder trial is set to hear closing arguments and begin deliberations today. Mosley, who is 28, could be sentenced to death if convicted in the shooting death of 62-year-old Billy Stacks of Tyler. Stacks, a former Mt Pleasant resident, was a clerk at a convenience store that was robbed in January of 2017.
