Starting this week, the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas will serve as a vaccine distribution hub.
The State of Texas is receiving more than 300 thousand doses of the COVID-19 vaccine this week to be distributed all across the state, including at several new vaccination hubs. Director of Emergency Management Rocky Vaz says the city will contact those who are eligible for the vaccine. The drive-thru distribution site at the convention center is appointment based. In addition to the Kay Bailey Hutchison center, the state has added more vaccination hubs in Burnet, Gregg, Navarro, and Montgomery counties.
