Keith On Nicole As A Mom In Today’s Nashville Roundup

Eli Young Band’s Jon Jones tells Southern Living magazine that the band members are all beach bums. “All four of us love the beach. We would tour the coast up and down our whole career if we could. We’re always just a little more relaxed, and I think we feel that spirituality of being at the ocean. It’s the way that you just feel small, and the waves reset your clock a little bit. I grew up lake fishing with my dad, so that’ll always hold a special place in my heart, but I love the mountains too. It’s more about nature in general. And it’s a lifestyle that almost everyone can really identify with.”

Morgan Wallen tells The Reflector that he didn’t know what he was doing when he auditioned for The Voice. “My mom actually signed me up. I didn’t even know what the show was. I was 20 when I was on the show. I didn’t even really know how to sing to be my best. I just wanted to sing country, but the show wanted me to sing pop, so I started writing songs, but I really didn’t know who I was as an artist yet. The show was a super positive stepping stone for me because it taught me how to sing raspy, and shaped me into the artist I am now.”

Carly Pearce tells People magazine that her fiance, Michael Ray, likes showing up when she’s touring with Jason Aldean and Kane Brown. “My fiancé gets to come out all weekend. He jokes and says he’s side stage fiancé. But everybody loves him in Jason’s band, Kane’s band. Everybody’s always like, ‘When’s Michael coming?’

Keith Urban says Nicole Kidman is an extraordinary mother. “She’s an extraordinary mum, she really, really is. Those girls are very, very lucky, and I feel very lucky that the children I should have in this world happen to be with Nic. I don’t know anything about raising kids and Nic does. It’s really made for an experience I wouldn’t have had without that. Her patience, her recognizing them as people and not just little kids is really extraordinary. Her attention to honoring their feelings and listening to them right from day one – really being attentive to that is not how I was raised at all, so it’s really beautiful to see.”

Shinedown likes Carrie Underwood. Pop Culture Country claims the hard rockers Tweeted, ”Check out @carrieunderwood on her #CryPrettyTour360 if you get the chance… She’s a total badass and next level performer! Much respect”
