An attorney prosecuting Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton on criminal securities fraud charges is now accusing him and his supporters of trying to derail the case by withholding funds. Special prosecutor Brian Wice is asking the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals to reconsider a November ruling that essentially denied his team $200,000 they’ve previously billed. Paxton has pleaded not guilty to felony charges of duping investors in a startup.
