Kilgore ISD Bus Crash

Tuesday morning at approximately 7:11 am there was a two-vehicle crash involving a Kilgore ISD bus and a passenger car. A 16-year-old male driver of the passenger car was traveling north on CR-165 when he became distracted. He failed to control his speed and rear-ended the bus. Three children on the bus, ages 7, 14 and 9 reported minor injuries and were taken to Good Shepherd-Kilgore. The rest of the students were transferred to another bus and taken to school. The crash remains under investigation, and there is no further information at this time.
