KOYN Teacher of the Week for 10/7/16

Our Teacher of the Week is Barbara Forrest 5th grade teacher at Chisum Elementary…nominated by Shawn Boutwell who said: “Barbara Forrest was a wonderful teacher to me. She inspired me. My children have all gone through her classes. She is a one of a kind “old school” teacher. She will be dearly missed if she ever retires. She says she’s going to retire every year but she still keeps coming back for the kids. I don’t know if she’s ever won this award but she deserves it very much. Thank you.
