KOYN Teacher of the Week for Oct. 28th

Our Teacher of the Week is Chayanna Miller 3rd grade teacher at Aiken Elementary…nominated by Ryan Odeneal who said: “Mrs Miller has made me feel very welcomed since day 1 being Aikin is a new school for me. It’s much bigger than what I’m used to and I was scared but she made me feel very comfortable and her room makes you feel like you’re safe.  Mrs Miller goes over and beyond to help me during the day being I have a learning disability. She not only teaches us but she makes it a fun learning time. I understand that teaching kids daily is a hard job with hours put in on the weekends and on time off. I feel she deserves this award to show how much we all love her and appreciate all she does for all her kids in her class. She’s an A+ teacher and deserves something nice.”
