Lady Tigers Advance To State Title Plus Calhoun Homers In Rangers Win

Congratulations to the Mount Vernon Lady Tigers on their very exciting 46 to 37 win over the Brock Lady Eagles in the semi-finals of the state championship. They now advanced to the championship game on Saturday morning at 10:00 am against the Marlin Bulldogs. The Texas Rangers pick up a Spring Training win over the Oakland A’s 9-4. Willie Calhoun hit the Rangers first homer of the spring. In a B squad game, Bartolo Colon gave up one run in his first two innings of spring work.
