Lamar Commissioners Approve Abatement for Solar Farm

Lamar County Commissioners approved a tax abatement for developers of the proposed Mockingbird Solar farm project. Under terms of the agreement, the county will receive payments from the operation for 10 years and the project is expected to generate 280 to 350 jobs.
