Paris Area Christmas Activities

The Annual Paris FFA Chili Cook-Off and Auction will be at the Gibraltar Hotel on Friday, December 6! They will serve chili at 6:30 and have a silent auction. Try all of the chili entries and vote with your ticket! Support our hard workers. A Chili ticket is $5.

The Texas BBQ Blowout is back for another great year at the Love Civic Center on December 6th and 7th. Guaranteed payout of $10,000 plus a $2500 Turkey Smoke Payout. Ribs, Pork Butt, Chicken, Brisket and Turkey. The Lamar County Chamber of Commerce and Champions Barbecue Alliance are the sponsors. Not competing? Come out and eat! Come out to Bogata for a journey through Bethlehem! A Night in Bethlehem is happening Friday through Sunday, December 6-8, from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Johntown Missionary Baptist Activity Building. The marketplace will be open for touring, including a light dinner experience, the festival of Nativities, crafts for the children, and a gift for each family. Once you finish the market activities, you can visit the Stable to witness Christmas’s incredible, true meaning. Admission is Free.

Christmas in Fair Park at the Paris/Lamar County Fairgrounds is on Friday, December 6, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 and Saturday, December 7, from 9:00 until 3:00 pm. It will be bustling with Vendors for Fun Christmas Shopping ideas.

The Annual Paris Christmas Parade is on Saturday, December 7, at 6:00 pm. This year’s theme is “Christmas at the Movies.” To enter a float, go to downtownptx.com.

The 19th Annual Christmas with Santa is happening on Saturday, December 7, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 at Central Presbyterian Day School, 309 S. Church Street. Come out for an afternoon of CRAFTS, a sleigh ride with Christmas carols, and a visit with the JOLLY ole Fella from the North Pole.
