Lamar County Commissioners Considering Property Transactions

Lamar County Commissioners are considering selling property at 2673 North Main Street that currently houses Lamar County Chapter of the American Red Cross, the Lamar County Emergency Response Team, and the local Texas Game Warden. Commissioners are also looking into buying a seven-acre tract north of Hwy 271 that formerly was a Shell station and truck stop. That property could be used for Emergency Management needs.
