Lamar County Commissioners Court to Meet This Morning

The Lamar County Commissioners Court will meet this morning at 9 and is expected to enter into a nearly $500,000 agreement with the Natural Resources Conservation Service for the construction and/or maintenance of structures that relieve hazards created by natural disaster that damage watersheds and other related work. The federal government will pay about $373,000 and the county will pay either $124,000 in cash or in-kind work on the project.
