The Lamar County Commissioner’s Court has entered into an agreement with the Natural Resources Conservation Service to hire a company for about $500,000 to lead repair efforts around the county caused by flooding. The County will pay for nearly $125,000 while the federal government will pay the rest. The project is expected to be finished by the end of the year.
