Lamar County Commissioners to Meet This Morning

Lamar County Commissioners will meet in special session Monday morning and consider several proclamations . December 4^th  through the 10^th will be “ Tree of  Angels” week and commissioners will declare their support for Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day on December 7.  Precinct 2 Commissioner Randy Layton will turn in an affidavit that he is related to the owners of two businesses the county does business with. Commissioners will also consider auctioning off surplus property in Precincts 1,2 and 3. County Clerk Russ Towers will also be honored at the meeting.

After  this morning Commissioners Court session, work sessions will be held with the  with the civic center manager, there will be a discussion on environmental operations and the court will meet with Tom Glosup regarding the Courthouse Roof. Commissioners will also meet with Tim Kelty to discuss transportation in Hopkins County. A budget work session will also be held.
