Lamar County Commissioners will meet at 9 this morning and consider a tax abatement for a local business. Potters Industries is seeking a 10 year abatement, in exchange for building a new warehouse and installing new equipment. The upgrades will allow Potters to increase production by at least 25%. Also on the agenda is a discussion on the medical insurance for county employees.
