Lamar County Commissioners to Meet to Set New Tax Rate

Lamar County commissioners will meet at 4 this afternoon and are expected to set the tax rate for next year.  If the rate decided on by the commissioners exceeds the rollback rate, or the effective rate, 2 public hearings on the increase will be held to get input from residents.
