Lamar County Court Convicts Man Of Evading Arrest

Joshua Temple was convicted in Lamar County of evading arrest with a vehicle. He was reportedly fleeing from officers attempting to serve a warrant and attempted to ram a patrol vehicle. Because of his prior criminal history, his punishment was enhanced and he was sentenced to 40 years in prison. He must serve at least 20 years behind bars before he becomes eligible for parole.
