Bond has been set at $29,500 for a man arrested after Lamar County deputies responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on CR 44600. Deputies located the vehicle in the middle of the road, and found 39 year old Kyle Lydell Scales inside. When deputies smelled marijuana they searched the vehicle and found a handgun, 28 grams of suspected methamphetamine and $5,000 in cash. Weight scales were also located. Scales was arrested on felony drug and weapons charges.
