A Chicota family lost their home to fire Tuesday morning. The blaze broke out in the 10,000 block of FM 197 and when volunteer firefighters from at least 6 departments arrived on the scene the house was completely engulfed in flames. Although the family was at home when the fire started, all made it out safely and there were no injuries. The cause of the fire has not been determined .
