Lamar County Junior Livestock Show

This week, the 54th Annual Lamar County Junior Livestock show gets underway at the Lamar County Fairgrounds. More than 200 young participants from throughout the county expect to participate. Events get underway with the market animal weigh-in Tuesday night, followed by the livestock show competition on Wednesday and Thursday. The show culminates Thursday night, with the sale beginning at 6:45 pm.
