Lamar County Man Dies In UTV Crash

A 32-year-old Lamar County man died after being thrown from his UTV on Monroe Street in Deport at about 3:00 Sunday morning. Jace Short and his passenger were both ejected from the vehicle and Short died at the scene. Paramedics took 22-year-old Emery Robinson to the hospitalized but is expected to be okay.
