Lamar County Man Guilty Of Jewelry Theft

A Lamar County jury convicted a local career criminal of stealing diamond rings from Scott’s Jewelry and David House Jewelry. Jeremy Gilbert was then sentenced to 20 years in prison. Court records show that Gilbert had eleven prior felony convictions and nine prior theft convictions and was already on parole for a weapons violation at the time of his latest arrest.
