Lamar County Precinct 2 Constable Mike Ford Accepts New Position

Lamar County Precinct 2 Constable Mike Ford is expected to submit his resignation at today’s meeting of the Lamar County Commissioners Court. Ford has accepted a position as a federal technician with the Texas Military Department. His resignation will take effect on March 8. Also on the agenda is the appointment of Curtis Fendley to a two-year term on the board of the Sulphur River Regional Mobility Authority.
