Lamar County School COVID Recommendations

Paris-Lamar County Health District bases these recommendations on current expert data and local rates of infection. These recommendations aim to reduce the community spread of an infectious virus that continues to mutate and is in a surge among younger, COVID unvaccinated populations. Both our children and their families are currently at risk of being infected by a virus with uncertain long-term outcomes. We want to allow our children to learn in person while preventing increased community spread due to this forced indoor gathering of community members.
