Lamar County Sexual Assault Trials

Testimony is scheduled to begin this week in two separate child sexual assault trials in Lamar County. The trial for 30-year-old Israel Brice Deere is set to begin today. The trial of 27-year-old Kory Allen Battiest is scheduled to get underway Thursday, April 25.
